Nebraska Football Recruiting: WR Isaiah Mozee has committed to Nebraska!

Originally posted for Corn Nation.

Isaiah Mozee signed for Nebraska on this early signing day following his de-commitment from Oregon when his father, Jamar Mozee, was added to Matt Rhule’s staff. Wide receiver has been an area of concern for not just this past season but what feels like an age, so anytime a talented wideout commits, it needs to be celebrated.

Oregon wanted this talented player, and they have had a record of producing incredible skill players, so this flip is impressive. He is an ideal size at 6-1 (185lbs) for a receiver in the Big Ten, as size on the perimeter is vital to win against rangy DBs.

Receiver is a position where you can play immediately if you are talented enough. Just look at Jacory Barney’s coming-of-age this season. With the offensive guru Dana Holgorsen in the saddle as offensive coordinator, this should appeal to young receivers.

Mozee is the 3rd ranked player in Missouri and 292 nationally according to 247.
