Brian Tapu is a development piece on the offensive line as he has impressive size at 6-7 (295 lbs) but has limited football experience, having moved from New Zealand with family in 2023. Donovan Raiola will be able to teach Tapu good habits from the start, having not had years of just overpowering opponents.
Tapu is a long shot to see if she can develop into an offensive tackle, but it is a worthwhile risk. Line play is as vital as ever, and it is always good to have a depth piece.
Tapu is ranked 8th in Utah and 761st nationally by 247.
