Nebraska lands commitment of man mountain OT Juju Marks

Nebraska had a torrid time in the trenches against the Indiana Hoosiers and couldn’t get any real push on the offensive side of the ball.

Matt Rhule has emphasized the need for the trench play to improve and the commitment of Juju Marks to the 2025 class looks to answer that call. The 4-star offensive tackle (6-6/290) from Olathe, Kansas was committed to Kansas and flipped to Nebraska.

Marks had offers from Auburn, Alabama, and Arkansas which shows the much sought-after recruits pedigree. Nebraska already has offensive tackles Brian Tapu (6-7/295) and Shawn Hammerback (6-6/260) in the 2025 class but adding a player of this caliber, especially in the trenches is one you can’t pass up.

Marks looks the most ready to see the field as he has a great frame and moves surprisingly well for his size. 247 ranks him the 6th-best player in Kansas, 34th-best offensive tackle overall and the 387th-best player in the nation. Their profile has him at 6-6, 290 pounds.

Nebraska will lose some important pieces on the offensive line this year, so playing time will be up for grabs in the next few years. With some impressive talent on paper, it will be up to Donovan Raiola to get them ready. One forgets players like Grant Brix are in the fold and developing away from the glaring lights of Memorial Stadium to hopefully make a difference as time goes by.

This is great news after a dismal weekend to give Husker Nation some cheer going into the cauldron of playing Ohio State at home.
