In-state linebacker Christian Jones has signed with Nebraska on this early signing day. This was a real dog fight to get the number 1 player in Nebraska to commit to the Huskers as big-time programs like Auburn and Oklahoma pursued him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Omaha native has all of the intangibles of a linebacker who could excel at the college level with surprising speed for a 6.2 (215 lbs) tackler. He moves with ease for a big man and looks more than comfortable filling run gaps or chasing down players in space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is ranked as the number 1 player in Nebraska and 179th nationally according to 247.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
