Malcolm Simpson has signed his NLI with Nebraska and will be looking to bolster the defensive line that will be without Ty Robinson and Nash Hutmacher. Simpson is a coveted player out of Texas, highlighting Matt Rhule’s pull in one of the most competitive states to land top-end talent.
Simpson is a dynamic four-star prospect. His 6-3 (255 lbs) frame will need some time in the weight room to get Big Ten ready, but he will be an intriguing prospect that the new defensive line coach will need to develop.
Simpson is ranked as the 45th player in Texas as well as 310th nationally according to 247.
